Logie Awards of 1980

The 22nd Annual TV Week Logie Awards were presented on Friday 14 March 1980 at Hilton Hotel in Sydney, and broadcast on the Nine Network. Bert Newton from the ABC was the Master of Ceremonies. British film star Michael York, comedian Cilla Black and television actors Nicola Pagett and John Inman appeared as guest presenters. American television stars Paul Michael Glaser, Greg Evigan, Lee Meriwether, Linda Gray and Sesame Street's Big Bird and Oscar the Grouch were also in attendance.
